RADAR - The Most Powerful & Least Understood Tool
For centuries mariners never really know where they were. Nowadays we not only know our exact position, but the world of modern electronics can tell us who and what is near us, how close they will come, what weather is over the horizon and will even steer the boat home. With such sophistication in the electronic world some training is necessary to make sense of it all. This workshop will tackle the alphabet soup of modern navigational electronics and offer interactive exercises on RADAR screen interpretation and the use of chart plotter technology to enhance the skipper's situational awareness.

This 3-Hour Class concludes shortly after the show opens on Sunday and includes two-day show ticket. Space is Limited — Preregistration is Highly Recommended

Course Fee: $89.00 online or $125 at the show (Includes two show tickets, application exercises, laminated RADAR quick reference and plotting board and $50 gift card for Annapolis School of Seamanship Courses.

Online Registration closes January 23, 2012 at 12:00pm EST.
